What do we rely on at ENCAVIS? The sun. The wind. And on you.

Welcome to Encavis! Our world is all about the power of the sun, the wind and the more than 400 people across our group who are working together to shape the energy system of the future in order to ensure a sustainable energy supply for future generations.

ENCAVIS Management GmbH & Co. KG is the holding company of ENCAVIS GmbH, one of Europe's leading electricity producers from renewable energies. We operate a broadly diversified portfolio of over 330 onshore wind farms, ground-mounted solar plants and battery storage facilities in 13 European countries with an installed capacity of more than 3.8 GW. And best of all, we are continuing to grow! Our subsidiaries, Stern Energy SpA, which operates throughout Europe as a specialist in technical services for photovoltaic systems, and Encavis Portfolio Management GmbH, which specialises in supporting institutional investors, complement our portfolio.

What does this mean for you? The opportunity to make a difference, to shape and change things. As part of a multinational team that enjoys helping to make the energy transition a success.

You will join a highly quantitative, forward-thinking Commercial team at the heart of the energy transition. In this role, you combine advanced modelling, data analytics and market expertise to shape hedging strategies, develop innovative energy products and support strategic decision-making at management level. You work on highly relevant topics such as renewable power commercialization, PPAs and portfolio risk management, while actively contributing to digitalization and automation. This position offers you the opportunity to make a real impact, grow your technical skills and help shape sustainable energy markets of the future.

Your sunny outlook:

Hedging Strategies & Product Structuring:
You actively contribute to the development and implementation of innovative hedging strategies and support the structuring of tailored products for industrial offtakers.

FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES - TOGETHER WITH THE TEAM

Risk Assessment & Portfolio Analytics:
You quantify market, shape and volume risks on deal, asset and portfolio level by combining market data analytics with meteorological modelling.

Digitalization & Tool Development:
You further develop and build software solutions and analytical tools to automate pricing, hedging, risk assessments, reporting and performance monitoring in close collaboration with IT and external partners.

Management & Decision Support:
You prepare ad-hoc analyses for management and the board and guide decision-makers with well-founded interpretations of assumptions, models, risks and results.

We'll get wind of that soon:

Academic Background & Experience:
You have a university degree in natural sciences, economics, statistics or a comparable field, and ideally more than one year of experience in a quantitative role within origination, trading or risk management.

You have strong experience in statistical analysis and the application of stochastic and fundamental models to evaluate risk/return profiles in energy or commodity markets.

Data & Programming Skills:
You confidently extract, manipulate and analyze data from APIs, databases and files, using Python, R and SQL, and visualize results with tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, plotly or ggplot2.

Energy Markets & Renewables Mindset:
You are passionate about the energy transition and bring a strong interest or know-how in renewable energy, power markets and, ideally, meteorology.
