Energy Contract Manager (m/f/d) in Renewable Energies

  • ENCAVIS GmbH (Hamburg oder Neubiberg bei München)
  • Permanent
  • Full-time
  • 50% Mobile Office possible

What do we rely on at ENCAVIS? The sun. The wind. And on you.

Welcome to Encavis! Our world is all about the power of the sun, the wind and the more than 400 people across our group who are working together to shape the energy system of the future in order to ensure a sustainable energy supply for future generations.

ENCAVIS Management GmbH & Co. KG is the holding company of ENCAVIS GmbH, one of Europe's leading electricity producers from renewable energies. We operate a broadly diversified portfolio of over 330 onshore wind farms, ground-mounted solar plants and battery storage facilities in 13 European countries with an installed capacity of more than 3.8 GW. And best of all, we are continuing to grow! Our subsidiaries, Stern Energy SpA, which operates throughout Europe as a specialist in technical services for photovoltaic systems, and Encavis Portfolio Management GmbH, which specialises in supporting institutional investors, complement our portfolio.

What does this mean for you? The opportunity to make a difference, to shape and change things. As part of a multinational team that enjoys helping to make the energy transition a success.

Join us in shaping the future of renewable energy: In this role, you take ownership of complex commercial contracts, collaborate across key business functions, and work directly with market players to drive meaningful commercial decisions. You combine analytical depth with hands‑on execution — from managing PPAs to shaping pricing strategies with real market impact. If you’re excited by dynamic markets, cross‑functional collaboration, and the chance to influence high‑value commercial outcomes, this role is your opportunity to make a difference!

Your sunny outlook:

  • Contract Management & Renegotiation: You oversee existing PPAs and other commercial agreements, ensure full contractual compliance, manage claims, and engage in clause renegotiations in close coordination with the Legal team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You act as a key point of contact for selected external partners and collaborate closely with internal teams such as Legal, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Performance Reporting: You develop and present regular performance reports, using data analytics to monitor contract outcomes and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration on New PPAs: You work with originators to prepare competitive offers and pricing for new agreements and actively contribute to negotiating commercial and contractual terms.
  • Market Analysis & Commercial Insights: You support market analysis efforts, provide insights that shape pricing strategies, and contribute to well-informed commercial decisions.

We'll get wind of that soon:

  • Academic Background: You hold a degree in business administration, law, economics, engineering, or a comparable field and bring a solid foundation for commercial and analytical work.
  • Professional Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in an analytical or commercial role within energy trading, energy sales, or energy procurement, ideally with a focus on electricity markets.
  • PPA & Contract Expertise: You bring hands-on experience in evaluating or negotiating PPAs or other energy contracts—ideally across multiple markets, technologies, or portfolios.
  • Analytical & Structured Working Style: You work in a structured and data-driven manner, confidently analyze complex datasets, and translate findings into clear reporting and actionable insights.
  • Energy Market Knowledge: You understand the dynamics of European energy markets, including how wholesale electricity prices are formed and which fundamental drivers influence pricing and risk.
  • Language & Communication Skills: You communicate fluently in English and Italian, and additional European languages are a plus.
