Join Encavis as Strategic Partnerships & Origination Manager Spain and help accelerate the energy transition as part of our Spanish development team. In this IPP‑focused role, you initiate, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships and co‑development agreements to drive Encavis’ growth in Spain.

Focusing on utility‑scale Wind, Solar PV, and BESS projects, you source mid‑ to late‑stage and ready‑to‑build opportunities through partnerships and acquisitions, steering projects from origination to RTB. The role directly supports Encavis’ hybrid‑first strategy and 2030 growth ambitions—without greenfield development.

Your sunny outlook:

  • Strategic Partnerships Lifecycle: You lead the full lifecycle of partnership deals—from origination and negotiation to signing—to secure top‑quality Wind, PV, and BESS projects for Encavis.
  • JV & Co‑Development Structuring: You structure joint ventures (JV) and co‑development agreements (CDA) that balance risk and maximize value creation for the company.
  • Project Oversight from Origination to RTB: You oversee and continuously monitor assigned and developed projects from origination through Ready‑to‑Build (RTB), ensuring that all milestones are achieved in line with the defined project roadmap and comply with the planned development pathway.
  • Partner Network & Pipeline Access: You provide, build and maintain a trusted partner network to access project pipelines, hybridization prospects, and repowering opportunities.
  • Project Oversight to RTB: You oversee assigned and developed projects from origination through Ready‑to‑Build (RTB), ensuring every milestone follows the planned path.
  • Origination & Market Intelligence: You source RTB or late‑stage Wind+PV+BESS assets and run market and grid analyses to pinpoint high‑value nodes, curtailment risks, storage opportunities, and follow up with Electrical Grid Operator issues.
  • Hybrid Portfolio Transaction Support: You support transaction structuring for hybrid portfolios by leveraging Encavis’ financial resources and technical expertise.
  • Stakeholder & Industry Engagement (Spain): You cultivate strong relationships with developers, grid operators, and associations and represent Encavis at renewable‑energy forums in Spain to position us as a preferred partner.
  • Deal Accountability & ESG Compliance: You  take end‑to‑end accountability for deals—including due diligence, negotiation, and execution of JV, CDA, and SPA documents—while ensuring compliance with Encavis’ strategic, financial, and ESG standards. You also ensure the accurate identification, classification, and proper registration of all key documentation generated throughout the origination process.

  • Educational Background: You hold a degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related technical or commercial field.
  • Professional Experience: You bring 5–8 years of experience directly in renewable energy business development, with a proven track record in Wind, Solar PV and BESS projects.
  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation Expertise: You have strong commercial acumen that enables you to structure Joint Ventures and co‑development agreements effectively and negotiate partnership deals confidently.
  • Regulatory & Market Knowledge (Spain): You are familiar with Spanish permitting processes, regulatory frameworks, law updated and grid‑connection requirements, allowing you to confidently navigate the RTB pathway. 
  • Technical & Market Understanding of Hybrid Projects: You possess solid technical and commercial understanding of Wind, Solar PV and BESS projects, enabling you to assess project value and risks across hybrid portfolios.
  • Technical & Grid Performance Expertise: You demonstrate a solid technical understanding of energy generation technologies and grid performance, enabling you to assess plant performance, grid‑connection behavior and operational impacts with confidence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Industry Presence: You bring a strong network within the Spanish renewable energy sector and represent Encavis confidently at industry events, regulatory discussions and partner meetings.
  • Language Skills: You are fluent in both Spanish and English and communicate clearly in international, cross‑functional settings.
  • Mobility & Willingness to Travel: You are willing to travel within Spain (and occasionally internationally) to cultivate partnerships and advance project opportunities.
