Welcome to Encavis! Our world is all about the power of the sun, the wind and the more than 400 people across our group who are working together to shape the energy system of the future in order to ensure a sustainable energy supply for future generations.

ENCAVIS Management GmbH & Co. KG is the holding company of Elbe BidCo GmbH, one of Europe's leading electricity producers from renewable energies. We operate a broadly diversified portfolio of over 330 onshore wind farms, ground-mounted solar plants and battery storage facilities in 13 European countries with an installed capacity of more than 3.8 GW. And best of all, we are continuing to grow! Our subsidiaries, Stern Energy SpA, which operates throughout Europe as a specialist in technical services for photovoltaic systems, and Encavis Asset Management AG, which specialises in supporting institutional investors, complement our portfolio.

What does this mean for you? The opportunity to make a difference, to shape and change things. As part of a multinational team that enjoys helping to make the energy transition a success.

Join our Encavis team as a Project Development Manager Spain and play an active role in shaping the energy transition as part of our Spanish development team. In this high‑impact role, you lead the full lifecycle of utility‑scale PV projects integrated with BESS—playing a pivotal part in a market aiming for ambitious solar and storage targets. You deliver innovative, high‑quality projects that strengthen grid flexibility and accelerate the energy transition. If you’re passionate about renewable energy and eager to take ownership of complex, high‑value initiatives, this is your chance to play a decisive role in shaping the renewable energy landscape in Spain.

Your sunny outlook:

  • Project Leadership: You lead assigned PV + BESS projects end to end—from origination through Ready‑to‑Build—ensuring all technical, commercial, and regulatory criteria are met and risk is proactively managed.
  • Hybridization Strategy: You drive the integration of BESS into PV designs, optimizing grid performance and maximizing project value while partnering closely with engineering and grid teams to ensure systems are hybrid‑ready.
  • Permitting Expertise: You steer all permitting activities under Spanish regulations, streamline approval workflows, and cultivate strong, trust‑based relationships with public authorities.
  • Commercial & Technical Feasibility: You secure essential land rights, grid connections, and permits, and you prepare robust investment cases alongside comprehensive, audit‑ready project documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You build and sustain positive relationships with landowners, TSOs/DSOs, regulatory bodies, and local communities, anticipating concerns and negotiating win‑win outcomes.
  • Reporting & Coordination: You deliver clear, actionable project updates and coordinate effectively across Finance, Legal, Engineering, and HSSE to enable fast, compliant decisions.

We'll get wind of that soon:

  • Educational Background: You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, providing a strong academic foundation for complex renewable‑energy projects.
  • Professional Experience: You bring 5–8 years of experience in renewable‑energy project development, demonstrate proven expertise in PV permitting, and ideally add hands‑on exposure to BESS projects.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: You possess a deep understanding of Spanish regulatory frameworks and apply this knowledge to navigate permitting processes and engage effectively with authorities and stakeholders.
  • Skills: You excel in project management and organization, combine strong technical and commercial acumen including financial analysis (NPV, IRR) and CAPEX/OPEX assessments, and communicate and negotiate confidently with diverse stakeholders.
  • Languages: You speak both Spanish and English fluently and use them effortlessly in technical, commercial, and cross‑functional settings.
  • Mobility: You are willing to travel across Spain and occasionally internationally to support project progress and stakeholder engagement on-site.
