Your sunny outlook:

Reporting

  • Building a position reporting system and revenue tracking
  • Further developing existing software projects in collaboration with development partners and the IT team to optimally digitize portfolio management

Hedging strategy

  • Actively participating in the development of new hedging strategies by running stochastic models or backtestings
  • Tracking of short-term hedging strategies
  • Continuously following price developments and fundamental drivers of the energy markets

Risk assessments

  • Quantifying market-, portfolio and delivery structure risks and their impact for PPA structures
  • Develop PPA pricing models
  • Quantifying the impact and economic advantes of other financial hedging instruments, such as options and battery tollings

We'll get wind of that soon:

  • Academic degree in natural sciences, economics, statistics or equivalent
  • Passionate about the energy transition and renewables and ideally already >1 year of work experience (practical experience in Origination/Trading/Risk Management departments is a plus)
  • Confident in extracting and manipulating data from various sources, including APIs, CSV files, and databases, with a strong knowledge of SQL, R, and Python. Proficient in data visualization using Power BI and packages such as ggplot2, plotly, matplotlib, and seaborn. An excellent knowledge of Excel, including Power Query, is a plus
  • Experience in hands on reporting of renewables revenues/controlling
  • Experience in statistical analysis and application of stochastic and fundamental models to derive conclusions on risk/return metrics. In particular, know-how in the areas of meteorological and/or commodity market data is an advantage
  • Experience in pricing modelling in financial/energy markets
  • You are a team player and enjoy working independently, diligently, and responsibly
  • Good communication skills in German and English complete your profile
