What do we rely on at ENCAVIS? The sun. The wind. And on you.

Welcome to Encavis! Our world is all about the power of the sun, the wind and the more than 400 people across our group who are working together to shape the energy system of the future in order to ensure a sustainable energy supply for future generations.

ENCAVIS Management GmbH & Co. KG is the holding company of ENCAVIS GmbH, one of Europe's leading electricity producers from renewable energies. We operate a broadly diversified portfolio of over 330 onshore wind farms, ground-mounted solar plants and battery storage facilities in 13 European countries with an installed capacity of more than 3.8 GW. And best of all, we are continuing to grow! Our subsidiaries, Stern Energy SpA, which operates throughout Europe as a specialist in technical services for photovoltaic systems, and Encavis Portfolio Management GmbH, which specialises in supporting institutional investors, complement our portfolio.

What does this mean for you? The opportunity to make a difference, to shape and change things. As part of a multinational team that enjoys helping to make the energy transition a success.

Lead technical excellence across our transaction activities:
As Team Lead Technical Transactions, you take ownership of one of the most critical functions within Encavis’ investment process. You combine leadership responsibility with deep technical expertise, ensuring that all PV and BESS acquisitions meet the highest quality standards. By guiding your team, shaping methodologies and acting as a trusted partner for investment and management, you directly influence strategic decisions and the long-term success of our renewable energy portfolio. This role offers you the opportunity to drive technical excellence at scale and actively contribute to the growth of Encavis’ European platform.

Your sunny outlook:

  • Team Leadership & Development: You lead, mentor and further develop a team of Technical Transaction Advisors, fostering technical excellence and continuous growth.
  • Quality & Governance Ownership: You ensure high quality, consistency and decision-orientation across all technical due diligence activities within the portfolio.
  • Standards & Methodology Development: You define, implement and continuously improve Encavis-wide standards, tools and methodologies for technical transactions across PV and BESS projects.
  • Senior Technical Leadership: You act as the senior technical lead for complex or high-value acquisition projects and oversee critical transaction processes.
  • External Advisor Management: You serve as escalation point and expert counterpart for external technical advisors, ensuring alignment and quality of deliverables.
  • Strategic Collaboration: You work closely with Investment leadership and contribute to strategic portfolio decision-making.
  • Capacity & Resource Management: You support capacity planning, prioritisation and allocation of resources across multiple transaction activities.
  • Portfolio Strategy & Value Creation: You identify structural technical risks, market trends and value creation opportunities to support Encavis’ long-term portfolio strategy.

We'll get wind of that soon:

  • Academic Background: You hold a degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Extensive Industry Experience: You bring extensive experience in technical advisory and transaction support for renewable energy projects, ideally including leadership exposure.
  • Due Diligence Expertise: You have a strong background in leading and reviewing technical due diligence processes for PV and/or BESS assets.
  • Leadership Experience: You have experience in line management or functional leadership of technical teams or project groups.
  • Strategic & Technical Mindset: You combine strategic thinking with strong hands-on technical expertise.
  • Stakeholder Management: You manage senior stakeholders confidently and operate effectively at management level.
  • Communication Skills: You communicate fluently in English; German is considered a strong advantage.
  • Working Style & Mobility: You work in a structured, resilient and solution-oriented way and are willing to travel occasionally.
